What am I doing still up?

I know it may not be late to most of you but since getting married and having two kiddos this has became my late time on a Friday night. =) Since I am still up and everyone is sleeping I should be at least sewing or couponing. I bought some oh so cute fabric like a month ago that I haven't even touched ehh ... I had a plan for it then decided well that might be hard to pull off without a pattern so I think I may just do something easy with it just not sure what at the moment. Oh and I started working on such a cute little dress (remember me telling ya about the man dress shirt I got at the thrift store that I had plans of making something cute with?) I am almost done with just need to fix the bottom and make the "belt" for the waistband. I can't wait to see it finished. I also need to start making some new hair bows it's been a long while since I have made any. Well actually I made the girls both one for valentines day and then didn't even remember to let them wear on that day. ha....

So anyways.... So today A and I went and picked LL up from school and then headed over to Gigi's Cupcakes to have a try at some of those yummy looking cupcakes. YUM it was good and I was glad to see they were busy but not too busy. We were in and out in about 5-10 minutes. LL decided she wanted the "Miss Princess" cupcake and after seeing how huge they were I decided one will be enough for all three of us.. and boy was it. We didn't even eat half of it and we all had a sugar high =) After that we walked (or well drove) over to Justice for girls to see what all they had. I had a coupon for 40% off entire purchase so I thought I would let LL get something. Well then I see their sizes started at 6 and LL is only in a four so I was going to let her pick something out and of course she wanted stuff she would mess with once and then never again. So I just got her some pretty HOTTT pink nail polish that smells like strawberry's YUM. After shopping around a little we headed over... wait let me say this first I sat in the parking lot a good 20-30 minutes trying to get my 3G to work first time have problems with it. I wanted to try UCP park bc I have always heard about it and also the fenced in sounds good when it comes to A. Any who I finally found the address and put it in my GPS and found the park. I was impressed. I liked the fence and it was clean. Now I know where it is so when there is play date there. =) Oh and Monte met us there and after leaving the girls (well of course LL bc she had her nap at school) stayed awake until we got home. A was so tired poor baby (she is still a two naps a day and at the same times everyday) that she went to bed at 7. Good day for us!

So for those of you still here through all of my rambling =) I think maybe it's time to get off and head to bed. I will post some pictures of the cupcakes and park sometime maybe tomorrow. Hope everyone has had a good day and night. Until next time.....

Coupons & Random

Publix

Ok people this was my best trip yet!! =) I was so excited when I was checking out. I always go to the same lady when I go, she's so easy and nice. Ok so I paid $57.51 and saved $114.10 AWESOME! So my total would have been $178.52 and I only paid $57.51 ohhh I LOVE saving money. The lady (Tonya lol) checking me out was like "you go girl I'm proud of you". I immediately called Missy (basically my god mother as I call her) she is the one that, other then the class I took, taught me how to do this all. I call her every time I have a question about my coupons, usually Monday and when I am at Publix Wednesday! =) So anyways another week couponing another happy Mama!

Riteaid

I also went to Riteaid really my first time with the whole couponing. I went once before a couple weeks ago but I only bought deo for the hubs to kinda get me started bc it had a $3 up. So I had the $3 up and I ended up doing two transactions. On the first one I did the 2 Johnson shampoos and 2 Johnson lotions they were 2.99 I had a $1 off and $2 up, Always pantyliner .99 and I had a $1 off Q, and LL a bag of Cheetos (which I will later see I should have put with second transaction) anyways total after taxes was plus I had used the $3 ups I had $7.19 and I got back $8 up (so really made .81 cents) Second transaction Pampers 72 ct wipes $3.49 had a Q $1 off, 2 bags of Oreos had a Q $1/2 and they had $3 up, and I had to get 2 Reese bc I had too much ups I was going to use so my total was- $1.43 (bc I used the $8 ups I had) and got back $3 up... So in all I pd oop (out of pocket) $8.62 and got back $3 up so really it was $5.62 if you look at it that way =) So I guess not too bad for my first time!

Yes it is safe to say I am addicted to couponing!! LOL I am loving it. I went back to publix again tonight bc I found some really good deals. I spent $23.70 and saved $44.75...15.41 in store, 9.30 in vendor and 20.04 in special price savings. I also got a whole chicken, organic carrots and potato salad for FREE yes you read right FREE!! Then on my wy home I stopped by dollar general bc I had two $3 off gain fabric softener and they had theirs for 3.50 so I got 2 of them for 1.70 and saved $6!!! This is just awesome and I am saving us so much money, money that will go towards a couple vacations. =)
