This and That...

Howdy there. I feel like I haven't blogged in a while and I didn't even look to see when my last blog was. So I am going to guess and say since then we have started ball games, really hot weather and fun laid back Sundays. LL had her first game a couple weeks ago and I personally think she did great =) She had a sore foot (not sure what it was from but we took her to the doctor no brakes or fractures) so she limped a little but other then that she was full speed. I LOVE being back at the ball field, I hope she loves it as much as I did, well her or her sis LOL. Today is a very beautiful day that the Lord has given us! We went to church this morning, then went to an Easter egg hunt. LL stoked the Easter bunny lol it was cute. A wasn't sure at first and then was like whatever (poor thing slept through the egg hunt though). She usually naps from 9:30-about 12 and since we went to church she didn't have time to sleep so once we got in the car she was out and stayed out until the Easter bunny got there. I am loving this weather but I know before long it's going to be so hot that once I step outside sweat will poor. ugh. That I do not look forward to and today was a taste of that. But with that also comes vacations, swimming and tans lol. Well I hear the kids a calling waking up from their naps so until next time....

Here are some of my savings from last week.....

CVS

Ok I only done CVS (well besides publix) this week again bc I just really like it the best. Anyways here are my savings... =) I started out with $3ECB -1st transactions... Allegra $6.99 with $6.99 ECB Q-$2 and then my $3 ECB= $2.61 and 6.99 ECB -2nd transaction....the foundation and powder each $7= $14 Q-$2 Q-$2 and then 6.99= $4.27 plus $5 ECB -3rd transaction.... Sprite 3/$3, xtra $1.99 Suave $1 Q-.50 then $5 = .58 cents! Total=$7.46 I didn't put a picture of my Publix trip on here but I spent I think it was $40 and save $78.

I just have different things to talk about today. I need to catch-up a little, been a little lazy about blogging since my last post. Anyways .... So we took LL to her first college softball game at the University a couple weekends ago and I must say she just really wasn't into it. You know we have her in t ball (I think I have blogged about that if not now you know ha) and she is kinda the same way. She only likes to bat not "catch the ball" as she says. At the softball game though she started playing with this sweet little girl and after a few minutes she runs back up to us and says mommy, dad this is my best friend and she remembers me... haha first off this little girl is 5 an is in kindergarten and the have never met. I love how she calls everyone her best friend. Another example of that was during A's kindermusik class the other day one of the littles in the class came and sat by here and she said hey best friend, I just love it. =) Ok anyways I ramble so bad, but I was so surprised that we had to pay for A to get in the game, she is ONE??? Not a big deal to pay but I just thought that was crazy. But it was a great day for the Petersen's on that just-right-perfect weather!! =)

Another thing I want to talk about is my in-laws visit. It was one of the nicest visits we have had in a while. Both my mother and father-in-laws came. The week/weekend was full of lots of golf, shopping and fun! First off Monte finally got his deck built that he has wanted since we moved in just never got around to until now, and I must say I really am enjoying it =). We got some new patio furniture to go with it that I really like oh and Monte had already built this cabinet thing to hang his flat screen on so now we have more to add to the deck. I finally got a garbage disposal!!! =)))))) <---- lots of smiles there lol I have needed one since we moved in our house, again just never got around to it. We also got the girls some spring/summer clothes so we are all set now and ready for the oh-way-too0-hottt-most-days sun. You know I want to talk about that for a minute, I love summer I really do but man this Alabama heat is crazy. I mean I can't walk out my door without sweat pouring immediatly. Crazy. Anways M and his dad played golf three days (can you tell they are obbsesed? lol) but we went with them one day bc M wanted me to check out the pool area and everything since he was getting a membership there. We decided to stay a few holes with them just bc and I must say the girls were really good!! I told M that I would actually like to learn to play. I think it would be fun. So another awesome time for the Petersen family. =) (by the way I use a lot of smiley faces)

Last I just wanted to through in here my coupons. CVS. I actaully am loving this place. Now I can't remember how much I spent and how I did it and all that but I think this cost me around $5 oop so I am going to guess I saved around $30 and also got back $3 ECB. So this was a good trip. I am finally getting better at this. Oh and I went to publix this same day (didn't take a picture of those items) an spent like $25 and saved around $48. Not my best but not bad at all.
