Adilynn is here!

We had Adilynn on December 30, 2009. It was a fast pretty easy labor. The only had part really was when the doctor went to break my water, I was so scared that I made it almost impossible for her to do so. I went from 3 cm dilated to 6, to 10 and pushed for about an hour and a half. When they first laid her on my chest I looked at her and immediately thought "she looks just like her big sister" I instantly fell in love with her. So beautiful and such a great baby. She weighed 8lbs 12oz and was 21 1/2 in. That night we watched the Nebraska bowl game and Adi must have been good luck bc they won. We also spent New Years Eve in the hospital and we kept Adilynn until 12:00 and then had her go to the nursery so that we could try and get some sleep before coming home. At about four that morning I was waken by the nurse saying that Adi had a little accident, she chocked on some mucus and couldn't catch her breath. It scared me to death. We thought we were going to have to stay an extra night but thank the good Lord she did amazing the rest of the night and the whole day before leaving and she checked out fine. We came home to my mother, grandmother and big sister Lynnlee. "Adi" brought along a gift for her big sister so we watched Lynnlee open it. We had a great first night at home. Adi is now 6 weeks old and is the best baby. She is gaining weight very fast and is starting to look just like me. Can't wait to see what kind of personality she will have.... but I am NOT rushing her to grow up fast by any means ... =)

Adilynn Noelle

We will be having Adilynn on December 30th if not before. We go in at 6:00 a.m. to start the induction. I am hoping that it will be a fast and easy labor, and not have to push three hours like I did with Lynnlee. I am starting to get a little nervous bc I cannot remember the pain, but I have to keep telling myself it will be over soon. We are anxious to see who she will look like, I am going to go with me and Lynnlee (or that is the way it seemed in her 4D ultrasound). At my diapers and wipes party we had everyone fill out cards guessing the day, time, weight, height, who she will look like and what color her hair will be if any. Well we only had three people guess the 30th, my mother being one of those and she said 7lbs and 14 oz and I have a feeling that is going to be close if not correct. I put the 19th lol that day has came and passed so I was most definitely wrong. Monte guessed yesterday that she would be here around 1:18 p.m. on the 30th and I said 2:18 p.m. we shall see. I just cannot wait to meet the beautiful baby girl and hold/squeeze her and see what her big sister thinks of her. I think Lynnlee will love her like crazy and want to hold/play with her 24/7 and Monte thinks she will take on the motherly role. There is one thing we agree on though and that is when Monte is holding Adilynn, Lynnlee will say "no baby sister that is my daddy" lol she says that to anyone and everyone that tries and sit with her daddy or says "that's my daddy". She is a daddys girl that is for sure. So anyways as of today we have 6 days left until meeting the bundle of joy. Please keep us in your prayers and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

It's A ..... GIRL!!!

Yes we are having another girl and could not be more excited. We actually found out about 6 weeks but am just getting around to blogging about it. Sorry guys....

Anyways, we already have her room semi-set up, bedding and everything else all we need is a mattress for her. Her room is going to be done in pink and lime green circles, SUPER cute! I will post pictures when I get it all done.

I am pretty sure we have came up with her name.... Berklee Noelle. We saw Berklee in a baby name book, and just like with Lynnlee we didn't really like it at first and the more we said it the more we liked it. Noelle is my middle name and since Lynnlee has Monte's middle name Berklee gets mine. =)

I am so excited for Lynnlee to have a little sister. I always wanted a sister close in age it seems that they have the most amazing relationships so we will see! =)

She put her hands on her hips and said "cheese"
