Where has the time gone? The saying really is true "time flies when you're having fun" my baby is four. FOUR. That means this time next year we will be getting her ready to start school. WHAT? I am crying just thinking about it. Anyways we had her party here (we usually have it back in the Flo don't ask me why all her friends are here) and she had such a great turn out, got tons of fun toys and most importantly told me "THIS IS MY BEST BIRTHDAY EVER" in her oh so sweet little four year old voice. Her favorite toy, and again I love you mom for this, is her leapster explorer that her mimi got her and guys when she is playing it, get this she doesn't say a word all about it and is actually really good at it and it has already taught her a ton. We recently bought her a few games to go with it so that is just awesome to her. After her party we went to Zaxbys for some yummy food (we had to be quick it was 1,000 degrees out and we had cake and ice cream in the car) the whole time we were there, get this again she didn't say much just played her game oh well she did tell me over and over how great of a mommy I am bc "THIS IS MY BEST BIRTHDAY EVER" =) That chick knows how to make her mommy a happy camper. I think A had a great time also. Of course she loved the cake and ice cream.

So this makes me super excited about birthdays to come I hope I can always make these little stinkers this happy. I never knew being a mother would be this rewarding and I for sure never knew I could love another person the way I love my two chick-a-s =)

Ballet Recital

And this was before I just didn't feel like sorting through and fixing them. =)

Wow I have not blogged in a very long time. Might as well kick it back off with my beautiful L who did amazing in her ballet recital. I cannot believe that this is her second recital. She will be four at the end of this month which means she will start kindergarten NEXT year. WOW crazy I'll tell ya. Anyways back to my baby girl. She was very excited this year to be doing her dance to Ariel "Part of Your World" her costume was ADORABLE actually we have so many activities during Halloween she will probably be wearing that to a few. So cute! By the way as everyone by now knows we are fine after the tornado it hooked and didn't come by our house which is bringing me to the reason the recital was rescheduled. L's teacher Miss Tessa lost her home in the tornado (so please put her on your prayer list) so instead of the spring recital being in May it was in June. L didn't mind one bit that was more days of ballet for her. But she did GREAT. She was so into, watching Miss Tessa and doing her every move. After her dance was over she spotted me and waved the pretty loud she said "Miss Tessa my mommy waved at me" lol She also loved her flowers and candy that we gave her afterwards and that her mimi, nana and papaw came down to visit and watch her dance. After we went to Mugshots and had dinner. Oh and by the way they do not have changing tables in their restrooms poor A made a nasty poo and I had to clean her with her standing up. Very hard to do I'll tell ya. All in all it was a very good day. Now on to gymnastics for the summer....

This and That...

Howdy there. I feel like I haven't blogged in a while and I didn't even look to see when my last blog was. So I am going to guess and say since then we have started ball games, really hot weather and fun laid back Sundays. LL had her first game a couple weeks ago and I personally think she did great =) She had a sore foot (not sure what it was from but we took her to the doctor no brakes or fractures) so she limped a little but other then that she was full speed. I LOVE being back at the ball field, I hope she loves it as much as I did, well her or her sis LOL. Today is a very beautiful day that the Lord has given us! We went to church this morning, then went to an Easter egg hunt. LL stoked the Easter bunny lol it was cute. A wasn't sure at first and then was like whatever (poor thing slept through the egg hunt though). She usually naps from 9:30-about 12 and since we went to church she didn't have time to sleep so once we got in the car she was out and stayed out until the Easter bunny got there. I am loving this weather but I know before long it's going to be so hot that once I step outside sweat will poor. ugh. That I do not look forward to and today was a taste of that. But with that also comes vacations, swimming and tans lol. Well I hear the kids a calling waking up from their naps so until next time....
