More Coupons!

Here are some of my savings from last week.....

CVS

Ok I only done CVS (well besides publix) this week again bc I just really like it the best. Anyways here are my savings... =) I started out with $3ECB -1st transactions... Allegra $6.99 with $6.99 ECB Q-$2 and then my $3 ECB= $2.61 and 6.99 ECB -2nd transaction....the foundation and powder each $7= $14 Q-$2 Q-$2 and then 6.99= $4.27 plus $5 ECB -3rd transaction.... Sprite 3/$3, xtra $1.99 Suave $1 Q-.50 then $5 = .58 cents! Total=$7.46 I didn't put a picture of my Publix trip on here but I spent I think it was $40 and save $78.

Ball, In-laws and Randoms...

This is just the sweetest thing ever so I had to post a picture. This happens almost every morning. They are crazy over each other.

I just have different things to talk about today. I need to catch-up a little, been a little lazy about blogging since my last post. Anyways .... So we took LL to her first college softball game at the University a couple weekends ago and I must say she just really wasn't into it. You know we have her in t ball (I think I have blogged about that if not now you know ha) and she is kinda the same way. She only likes to bat not "catch the ball" as she says. At the softball game though she started playing with this sweet little girl and after a few minutes she runs back up to us and says mommy, dad this is my best friend and she remembers me... haha first off this little girl is 5 an is in kindergarten and the have never met. I love how she calls everyone her best friend. Another example of that was during A's kindermusik class the other day one of the littles in the class came and sat by here and she said hey best friend, I just love it. =) Ok anyways I ramble so bad, but I was so surprised that we had to pay for A to get in the game, she is ONE??? Not a big deal to pay but I just thought that was crazy. But it was a great day for the Petersen's on that just-right-perfect weather!! =)

Another thing I want to talk about is my in-laws visit. It was one of the nicest visits we have had in a while. Both my mother and father-in-laws came. The week/weekend was full of lots of golf, shopping and fun! First off Monte finally got his deck built that he has wanted since we moved in just never got around to until now, and I must say I really am enjoying it =). We got some new patio furniture to go with it that I really like oh and Monte had already built this cabinet thing to hang his flat screen on so now we have more to add to the deck. I finally got a garbage disposal!!! =)))))) <---- lots of smiles there lol I have needed one since we moved in our house, again just never got around to it. We also got the girls some spring/summer clothes so we are all set now and ready for the oh-way-too0-hottt-most-days sun. You know I want to talk about that for a minute, I love summer I really do but man this Alabama heat is crazy. I mean I can't walk out my door without sweat pouring immediatly. Crazy. Anways M and his dad played golf three days (can you tell they are obbsesed? lol) but we went with them one day bc M wanted me to check out the pool area and everything since he was getting a membership there. We decided to stay a few holes with them just bc and I must say the girls were really good!! I told M that I would actually like to learn to play. I think it would be fun. So another awesome time for the Petersen family. =) (by the way I use a lot of smiley faces)

CVS

Last I just wanted to through in here my coupons. CVS. I actaully am loving this place. Now I can't remember how much I spent and how I did it and all that but I think this cost me around $5 oop so I am going to guess I saved around $30 and also got back $3 ECB. So this was a good trip. I am finally getting better at this. Oh and I went to publix this same day (didn't take a picture of those items) an spent like $25 and saved around $48. Not my best but not bad at all.

He is such a wonderful husband and daddy! I just love him to pieces. I want to take time out to say thank you babe for all that you do.... the getting up with Ads whether it be in the middle of the night or 7 a.m. I am so thankful bc you know I LOVE my sleep. For being so hands on with the girls and pretty much taking over when you get home from work bc you know I need the break, well either that or you just don't want to hear me complain ha.... For working hard so that I can stay home with our precious littles, and for coming up with all these (at the time) crazy ideas that actually become really great ideas. Thank you for being you even though you drive me crazy =) sometimes and loving us (obviously me and the girls) with all you are. But mostly thank you for giving me the two most amazing daughters in the world. I love you Mont Man!!

T-ball Season

Welp folks LL has started tball. She is carrying on the athletic gene. =) This makes me so excited I didn't realize how much I have missed being at the ball field. At first she wasn't really sure if she liked it or not and she actually cried once or twice. She was playing pitcher and when someone would hit the ball all the kids would run trying to get it and she cried when she didn't get it I guess it hurt her feelings. Anyways once we told her that she didn't have to get the ball every time she was ok with that. That's when she started having a good time. So now I think she really likes it, which she has only had two practices (bc of the rain) but she has liked it more each time. M thought I was that crazy mom bc I brought my camera and was snapping tons of pictures but I just thought this is her first time ever to practice or play for that matter I wanted to capture all that I could. =) So anyways here are a few pictures that I got. These are from this week. I went two different days bc they never have everything I need and it totally throws me off so I could have saved a lot more then I did. but at least I got rain checks and was still able to get the deals.... Anyways I am going to break it down for everyone bc I haven't done that before and so that way you can see how I am saving and maybe help somebody.

Ok I'm sorry but I do not remember everything on this one bc I went on like Monday but I will tell you what I remember....

I had (2) b1g1 for the puffs making them $1 for 2

$1off for the Febreze making it $1.99

$4 off Q and $4 ECB making the razor 5.99 oop but really 1.99

the crest were 3.29 +3.29ECB and I had (2) $1 so making them 4.58 + 6.58 ECB

total was like $5 or $6 after doing all the transactions and all

but without all the Q's it would have been like $24

So I saved almost $20 on this one...

Rite Aid-- Already had $3 ups

made 2 transactions

1st- Tide- 5.99-Q- $1 off and used my $3 ups-total= $2.53 + $1 ups

2nd- Pampers-9.99 Q(coupon)- $2 off and used my $1 ups- total= $7.89

total= $10.42 saved= $6.70

CVS-- Went to two different stores

Ok to be honest I do not remember how I did this LOL bc it was a big mess. I think I made like 5 different transactions. But I will tell you what I spend, Q's and ECB (extra care bucks) on each receipt... oh and plus I cannot find some of my receipts so I am going to guess it lol I will do better next time.

1st- dawn dish soap- .94, Q- .25

Febeze- 2.99 Q- 1.00

Razor- 9.99 Q-4.00 and $4 ECB

Total- $4.63 + $4 ECB

2nd- Head & Shoulders-4.99 Q-1.00

Body wash- 2.99 + 2 ECB

Toothpaste-3.29 Q-1.00 + 3.29 ECB

Total-10.28 + $5.29 ECB

3rd- (2) cokes .88 each - 1.76

(2) mens body wash 2.49 each - 4.98 Q-(2) $2

bounce bar- 3.99 Q-1

+ used the $5.29 ECB

Total- .97 cents

4th- (2) toothbrushes $6 each-12 Q-(2) $3

Total- $6.00

5th- (2) puff- 2/$2- Q-B1G1

Olay body wash-$7 Q- $2

Total- $6

So my total in all was like 82.73 after coupons and ECB - 31.72 so I saved about $51 dollars. I was happy with that. I just wish they would have everything I needed at one time I could save more maybe if I just start going as soon as it opens and get my coupons on Sunday or even Monday I would get my sales lol

Oh and I still have two rain checks that I will get when it all comes in.

Ok now last I want to say I am so sorry I am so bad at trying to explain stuff if you can understand this then God bless you lol but in my mind this all makes sense =)

The Little Things...

Way to often I forget to stop and enjoy the little things that my amazing, yet simple life has to offer. Like the look on LL's face when her sister wakes up from a nap or the absolutely adorable little body of A running as fast as her little legs will take her or even the excitement that over comes the girls when they get a new toy or in A's case food. =) I am trying to get better about stopping and enjoying that moment bc it is gone way to fast. I cannot believe in a few short months I am going to have a four year old. I could have sworn I just gave birth to her a few days ago. I just really am so happy about where my life is in this moment.

My mom and I stayed up talking the other morning until 2 a.m. and oh how I enjoyed it. I had missed her and just talking with her about this and that. And when she surprised us LL and A couldn't have been more happy running to her and jumping in her arms. So sweet how much they adore her.

I just want to add this in here bc I don't say this enough at all... I am SOOO thankful for my daughters health and happiness!!!
