My big announcement is, drum roll please.............. The Petersen Family of Four will be blogging next week from our new home in Nebraska!
This has been such a long, on going process for the past month. Let me just tell you how good our God is. We have been trying to sell our house now on and off for the past two years. Well we decided that we wanted to move to Nebraska to be closer to Monte's family. Get this the VERY NEXT DAY someone called and made an offer on our house No lie people true story. So at that point Monte had already put a couple applications in but once we heard this news he was filling them out left and right. About a week after that we find out that there are two places wanting to interview him and listen here OVER THE PHONE so that he doesn't have to fly all the way up there. Ok so at this point all we are waiting on is to see if our house appraised for what we were asking for it which by the way the buyers offered full amount and we pay closing, which worked out great. So finally after waiting and stressing, because the whole time our realtor just wasn't very positive it would appraise for what we were asking since there has been so many foreclosures in our subdivision. So I am so on and off about moving ya know I have only known one home and that's Alabama, grew up in Florence moved to Muscle Shoals after high school then down to Tuscaloosa for the last 4 years. I start praying to God, please just give me a BIG "here's your sign" type of deal as if selling the house after two years of trying once deciding to move up there wasn't enough lol We get the call ok listen people this is AMAZING! Not only did it appraise for what we were asking but it appraised for $2,000 more. My God is GOOD ALL THE TIME! He said here Megan that should tell you this is where I want you and your family. And I couldn't be more excited to follow His plan. Of course I will desperately miss my momma and family but God knows best and I want to do it His way. =) And it makes me feel better that it appraising that much has also given my mom peace since she is having such a hard time with the move.
So now we are just waiting on a closing day, which was supposed to be Monday and now has changed so who knows when lol But we still plan to leave on Tuesday. So let's pray it happens then. It's all in God's time and well that's just fine with me.=) So I will be so busy packing and all I will not be able to blog until we move and get settled probably maybe I can sneak in a blog in a few days. lol We will see.
I want to add in.... I thank everyone for making our time here in Tuscaloosa awesome. We will truly miss you all and hope to stay in touch. And maybe I will be back to visit soon since family is only 2 hours from here and of course there is Bama football, gotta get back to a game. =) RTR!!!

Little bit of this and a little bit of that
Well first off let me just say I redeemed myself lol I tried to back a cake again and well why it's still not the greatest it's better then the last one. I tried to do like a two tier cake and umm let's just say my husband asked me next time to just do a single layer. LOL At least it is better right? Oh and I made chicken Alfredo (well the noodles and added the sauce the hubs grilled the chicken that's his strong point well everything in the kitchen is I just can't grill lol) and our movie choice was Wizard of Oz although LL is really the only one that watched.
I was totally going to upload a picture of the cake but for some reason, and seems it just started happening, but it takes like 30 minutes to upload one picture any help? But it let me upload these pictures that I fixed in picnik....
These are a couple pictures I took of the girls... They are getting so big. tear!
This picture, I totally got the idea from a good friend of mine and have been wanting to try the pose. If you need you picture made I highly recommend April Zark Photography! She is AWESOME!

A tried to do the same pose as LL =)
I am hoping next week I will have some big news to share with everyone. Stay tuned to find out... =)

Dinner/movie Well ... Sort of
So as I said in my last post Lakelynn came down for the weekend and we just loved having her here I really cannot say enough good things about the Swann family. They have always meant a lot to me and Missy (Lake's mom) always gives me some really good advice. Well my mom and Missy came down yesterday to get Lake and they also stayed the night and left just about 30 minutes ago. We stayed up talking last night until around 2 a.m. something we always do when we get together like that.
The week was great I had so much help, I mean she done things before I could even ask her to (Lake that is) she does not understand how much I needed that. So Saturday I took her to All Fired Up so she and I could spend some time alone and we had a blast. I painted a plate with me and Monte him as a Alabama football player and me as a Bama cheerleader and it said Monte & Megan at the top, Roll Tide at the bottom. Very cute! Lakie made the cutest horse tile, she also made her granny and grandaddy a coffee mug. Hers was also very cute! Then later we met mine and her mom in town and did a little retail therapy. =) My mom got a lot of cute stuff for her shop which by the way if you live in Muscle Shoals or just need a awesome hair dresses hop on over to A Day of Beauty and Shopping and the shopping part if you need any home decor or flowers for a grave that's the place to go.
So (I say SO a lot lol) tonight I made Tacos and peanut butter balls for everyone (and the PB balls were a little diff from Missy I added graham crackers yummy) and after everyone left we watched Shriek which about 5 minutes in LL fell asleep and about 10 minutes after that A went to bed. So as I am typing this the movie is playing well actually it just ended.
I just want to say thank you again to Lake. I love you! and Thank you to Missy for the advice and talk we had last night and of course my mommy for the everyday advice you give me.
I want to end this post on something I don't say enough... What all I am thankful for. Today I am thankful for two healthy little girls who I love more than anything. I think God for picking me to be their mom and I thank God also for sending Monte to me and even more for sending him to my girls. You are a great man Monte Lynn. I love you!!

Different Things....
I just have a few different things to blog about today or actually tonight.
First off I am still loving having Lake here. I think I have changed A's diaper maybe once?? LOL She even did the dishes for me and cleaned LL's room. I really don't want to give her back she is such a joy. And not to mention the girls are LOVING her. By the way I just want to throw this out there, I am not the best at writing I am not sure where commas go or where to end a sentence so just bare with me. =)

LL got in trouble today and we put her in "time out" for a few minutes and when we went to tell her she could get out this is what we found. LOL A was upset that her big sis was in trouble. Bless it!
The next two pictures are the other morning getting ready for church. I just thought the girls looked adorable well like always =)
And this cute chick in her bathrobe. Such a cutie pie!
Ok since Lake is here, hubby and I have had time alone which is unheard of for us. Since hubs has weird days off we went on a date Tuesday night and we went to the Comedy Club. LL helped me get ready and pick out my clothes. She told me I could wear her princess jewelry and princess dress but we ended up settling on the outfit below, I thought the princess attire might be over dressed and like LL said wouldn't fit. lol ok Let me just say I LOVE the Comedy Club we had a blast. We were just going to go out to eat then head there well since we couldn't find a restaurant we just decided to eat there. It was pretty yummy to and not too pricey all though I don't know when the last time we actually spent that much on a date night. lol We also were able to go to the golf course yesterday, which must I add was my first time ever to attempt to play and geeesh that mess is hard but now I see why my hubster is addicted. I am ready to go back.
Here is a picture of my sweet LL helping me get ready for Prince Daddy!
The night of our date. A had to be in the picture of course =)

Drawing a blank here... lol
Well we didn't have a movie dinner night last week. We ended up going to my moms on Friday then coming home last night. We do however plan to have one this week, just have to pick out a movie and go from there.
We had a good weekend. I got to see friends I haven't seen in forever it seems, LL and A got to see their cousins with a spend-the-night party. I wish we lived close to M's family so we could get together with them more often, I know the girls would love that as well. However. it is very nice to be home. =)
Lakelynn, which is a forever family friends daughter, came back with me to spend the weekend with us and I must say I am excited. She is the sweetest little thing ever and such a HUGE help with the girls. Before I can even get up to change A's diaper she is already on it. She plays with LL, whatever game it may be. Her sister came last summer too and we loved having her as well. These two chicks are so well mannered and such a blessing to have around. It's nice to have so many people that care about our family and the Swann family is definitely one's that do. Also their mama Missy has given me some good advice over the years, I feel like she is my second mom as I call her my Godmother. As we speak Lake is at the kitchen table playing with play dough with both girls and they are having a blast with their little giggles now and then. It's going to be a great week ahead. =)
Hope you all have a blessed week and come back soon ya hear...
